Assoc Engineer

Location: Hybrid role in Warminster, Pennsylvania, United States. May require extended hours during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Salary: $72,800–$100,100 per year, plus a 7% annual bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Support the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of electric and gas utility infrastructure, including distribution, transmission, substations, and related systems.
• Perform engineering studies, technical calculations, electrical tests, power-flow analysis, and system performance evaluations.
• Analyze outage data and identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.
• Prepare or support specifications, permitting documents, work packages, cost estimates, budgets, and integrated system plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, construction, customers, and external partners, including participation in field inspections.
• Evaluate technical systems and processes for compliance with engineering standards, regulations, codes, and internal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Zero to two years of professional engineering experience, including relevant internships, co-ops, academic projects, or extracurricular activities.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems and apply engineering theory and problem-solving approaches.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles, practices, regulations, standards, codes, methods, and procedures.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
