Electrical Engineer Co-op/Intern

What you will do

• Develop electrical and instrumentation engineering designs for assigned plant projects.
• Direct and review external engineering work or prepare in-house design and construction packages.
• Verify project construction and installed equipment in the field.
• Support I&E engineers, maintenance technicians, and operations with daily plant problems.
• Evaluate site power requirements through short-circuit, arc-flash, protective-device settings, and coordination studies.
• Manage documentation changes for electrical and instrumentation equipment through the Management of Change process.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program at an ABET-accredited institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to deliver verbal and written presentations effectively.
• Ability to communicate with outside vendors and contractors.
• Commitment to a summer internship or a 7–8-month co-op assignment.

Nice to have

• Previous co-op or internship experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
