Graduate Engineer - Power

What you will do

• Assist senior engineers with detailed electrical design and drawing production.
• Support high-voltage substation and power delivery projects from concept through detailed design.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and engineering calculations.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and protection engineering disciplines.
• Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and client meetings.
• Apply relevant design codes, standards, CDM regulations, and ISO quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic understanding of one-line diagrams, cable sizing, earthing, and protection schemes.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate professionally, collaborate across disciplines, manage varied workloads, and meet tight deadlines.
• Availability to start in September 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSILENT, or similar design tools.
• Interest in obtaining Chartered status.
