Intern/Co-op - Refining Electrical Engineering

Location: Findlay, Ohio, and additional refinery locations across the United States

Salary: $32.92–$41.67 per hour

What you will do

• Support electrical and instrumentation projects throughout refinery operations.
• Develop project scopes, costs, schedules, and coordinated execution plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues and analyze equipment failures.
• Develop solutions for recurring equipment problems and support maintenance strategies.
• Work with process-control systems, including programming, lifecycle replacements, communication networks, and performance monitoring.
• Apply electrical analysis software to coordination issues and Arc Flash studies, while learning about refinery Safety Instrumented Systems.

Requirements

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering and concurrently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
• Strong academic performance.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability for multiple work terms is preferred; positions are available in spring, summer, and fall semesters.
