Salary: $32.92–$41.67 per hour.

What you will do

• Learn refinery operations, industry codes, engineering best practices, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.
• Support Electrical & Instrumentation project engineering through scope alignment, cost and schedule development, project phases, and area-team support.
• Troubleshoot Electrical & Instrumentation issues, analyze equipment failures, develop recurring-failure solutions, and submit Project Request Forms.
• Support equipment maintenance strategies, electrical analysis, coordination studies, Arc Flash studies, and Refinery Safety Instrumented Systems.
• Support process control systems through power-supply troubleshooting, control-system programming, lifecycle replacement projects, communication-network installation and troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Develop written, verbal presentation, teamwork, and project management skills in a refinery environment.

Requirements

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong academic performance.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program.
• Valid driver's license.
• Available for a spring, summer, or fall semester position.
