Location: Findlay, Ohio, with additional positions in Anacortes, Washington; Canton, Ohio; Catlettsburg, Kentucky; Detroit, Michigan; El Paso, Texas; Garyville, Louisiana; Kenai, Alaska; Mandan, North Dakota; Martinez, California; Robinson, Illinois; Salt Lake City, Utah; St. Paul Park, Minnesota; Texas City, Texas; and Wilmington, California. Onsite refinery work in the United States.
Salary: $32.92–$41.67 per hour.

What you will do
- Work with refinery professionals to understand refining operations, industry codes, engineering best practices, and how engineering disciplines operate together.
- Support Electrical & Instrumentation project engineering through scope alignment, cost and schedule development, teamwork, and multiple engineering phases.
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, analyze equipment failures, develop solutions, submit Project Request Forms, and support maintenance strategies.
- Use electrical analysis software for coordination issues and Arc Flash studies, and learn how Refinery Safety Instrumented Systems are applied.
- Support process-control systems through power-supply troubleshooting, control-system programming, lifecycle replacement projects, communication-network installation and troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Develop written, verbal presentation, teamwork, critical-thinking, and project-management skills in a professional refinery environment.
Requirements
- Major in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Concurrent enrollment in a degree-seeking program.
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability for spring, summer, or fall semesters; availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
