Intern/Co-op - Refining Electrical Engineering (Summer 2027)

Location: Findlay, Ohio, with positions also available at refinery locations across the United States

Salary: $32.92–$41.67 per hour

What you will do

• Support electrical and instrumentation projects through scope alignment, cost and schedule development, and multiple engineering phases.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues and analyze equipment failures.
• Develop solutions for recurring equipment problems and support maintenance strategies.
• Use electrical analysis software for coordination issues and Arc Flash studies.
• Support refinery process control systems, including programming, lifecycle replacements, and performance monitoring.
• Install and troubleshoot communication networks and control system power supplies.

Requirements

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering and concurrently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
• Strong academic performance.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability for multiple work terms is preferred; positions are available in spring, summer, and fall semesters.
