Intern Renewable Generation

Location: Wheatfield, Indiana; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location. Full-time, 12-week summer internship starting in May 2027.

Salary: $18.80–$31.70 per hour

What you will do

• Support renewable generation staff with projects addressing utility facility needs.
• Provide project management support for electric generation facilities at different levels of complexity.
• Collect and analyze data, review records, and interpret legal agreements.
• Create work orders and purchase requisitions.
• Perform field measurements and support operational assignments.
• Follow safety requirements and assist with emergency response efforts when needed.

Requirements

• Current student in an accredited four-year engineering, business, or operations program.
• At least one year of undergraduate study completed; entering junior or senior year in fall 2027.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and start in summer 2027.
• Proficiency with PC applications; strong Microsoft 365 skills are preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
