Field Testing Technician Administrator I (Solar and Renewable Energy)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California; field-based with 100% travel to project, vendor, or client sites.

Salary: $24.00–$35.00 per hour, paid weekly; non-exempt.

What you will do

• Support active testing and commissioning projects involving multiple disciplines.
• Organize project paperwork, testing documentation, field submittals, and project records.
• Review field reports for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain project trackers, monitor schedules, and communicate potential delays or documentation gaps.
• Prepare testing forms and assist with weekly project meeting preparation.
• Provide routine status updates to management and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• BS degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least one year of experience in solar and renewable energy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, reasoning, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in construction environments, including uneven surfaces, varying weather, noise, equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
