Associate, Preconstruction (Renewable Energy)

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States

Expected annual base salary: $110,000–$130,000, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Support preconstruction activities for solar, energy storage, and wind projects from late-stage development through notice to proceed.
• Coordinate with Development, Engineering, Finance, EPCs, consultants, and suppliers.
• Assist with EPC procurement, including RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Track project schedules, budgets, milestones, cost estimates, and financial model inputs.
• Support constructability reviews, site diligence, value engineering, risk assessments, permitting, interconnection, and site readiness.
• Review engineering deliverables and maintain project documentation, data rooms, internal memos, presentations, and investment committee materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in renewable energy, construction, engineering, or project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with EPC procurement, construction execution, project finance, cost modeling, permitting, interconnection, or grid infrastructure is relevant to the role.
