Engineering Intern

Location: Onsite in Columbus, New Albany, Gahanna, Ohio, or nearby areas. Summer relocation may be necessary.

Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour. A $1,500/month housing stipend is available for interns moving more than 45 miles from their home address.

What you will do

• Collaborate with project teams and experienced engineers on planning, design, construction integration, and enterprise resource projects.
• Participate in design reviews, training, knowledge-building projects, and constructability assessments.
• Visit operational facilities to learn about power system operations and assist with inspections and testing.
• Develop and analyze databases, reports, cost estimates, and dashboards.
• Support documentation and initiatives that improve operational performance and safety.
• Apply safety guidelines and standards in office and field environments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering in an ABET-accredited program.
• At least one year of college completed; graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, OPT, or CPT.
• Must be willing and able to relocate for the summer if necessary.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA, strong communication, and effective time-management skills are preferred.
