Physical Intern (Summer 2027) (Renewable Energy)

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States

Salary: $6,000 per month for undergraduate interns or $10,000 per month for graduate interns, plus a $5,000 housing stipend.

What you will do

• Support operational and commercial management of renewable energy assets through performance analysis, reporting, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist with construction execution, including schedules, budgets, contractors, equipment, field activities, and project risks.
• Contribute to electrical, civil, geotechnical, structural, and related engineering analyses and project design evaluations.
• Support development and preconstruction activities involving commercial, technical, permitting, interconnection, land, environmental, constructability, cost, and contracting considerations.
• Assist project management and delivery teams with cross-functional planning, coordination, analysis, financing, construction, and commercial operation activities.
• Collaborate with mentors and project managers, visit an operating renewable energy asset, and present completed work to colleagues.

Requirements

• Analytical, accomplished student with an interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, construction, project development, asset management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Academic and/or professional achievement.
• Ability to collaborate in small cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and learn quickly.
• Currently pursuing an engineering, technical, quantitative, business, finance, environmental, or other relevant degree.
• Preference for undergraduate or graduate students in their final year of full-time study after the internship.
