Physical Therapist - Bedford Outpatient Rehab - Per Diem

Location: Bedford, New Hampshire, United States. Per diem coverage is required on Tuesday and Thursday late afternoons and early evenings. Clinic hours are Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

What you will do

• Review medical records, confirm active therapy orders, and identify evaluation priorities, contraindications, and precautions.
• Evaluate patients’ skilled therapy needs and create prioritized plans of care with short- and long-term rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment programs, reassess patients, update plans, and communicate with referring providers and other clinicians.
• Develop discharge plans and teach patients, families, and caregivers home exercise programs, equipment use, and adaptive strategies.
• Supervise therapy assistants, rehabilitation assistants, and other personnel involved in delivering the rehabilitation plan.
• Participate in clinical development, student clinical instruction, educational presentations, journal clubs, and community outreach.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with the corresponding entry-level degree.
• Active Physical Therapist license from the New Hampshire Physical Therapy Governing Board.
• CPR certification required, or completion within the first 90 days.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred but not required; recent graduates are eligible.
