Physical Therapist - Part-Time

What you will do

• Provide physical therapy care to client employees and their dependents.
• Evaluate patients, apply clinical reasoning, and develop individualized treatment plans according to APTA professional standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, community providers, and other Health Center staff.
• Maintain continuity of care through patient meetings, documentation, reporting, and communication with referral sources.
• Assess and correct workplace ergonomics, including body mechanics at employee workstations.
• Develop and deliver injury-prevention, health-promotion, screening, and exercise programs for eligible employees.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy school.
• All state licenses and certifications required to practice, plus a current board certificate where applicable.
• At least three years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient physical therapy or ambulatory care clinic.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification with an in-person hands-on skills evaluation meeting American Heart Association standards; fully online courses are not accepted.
• Work onsite in Tyrone, Georgia.
