Physical Therapist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite coverage across health centers in McLean, Vienna, and Winchester, Virginia. Part-time schedule of 18 hours per week, including 10 hours in McLean and 8 hours in Vienna on Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; additional shifts may be available in Winchester.

Salary: $48.00–$60.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide physical therapy care to client employees and their dependents in onsite health centers.
• Evaluate patients, apply clinical reasoning, and develop individualized treatment plans using current physical therapy research and APTA standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, community providers, and workplace stakeholders.
• Document and report patient care, participate in health center and care meetings, and support continuity of care.
• Develop injury-prevention, health-promotion, ergonomics, body-mechanics, and exercise programs for eligible populations.
• Participate in continuing competence activities such as peer review and presentations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a physical therapist in an outpatient physical therapy or ambulatory care clinic.
• Required outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Degree from an accredited physical or occupational therapy school.
• All state licenses and certifications required to practice, plus a current board certificate where applicable.
• Current CPR certification meeting hands-on evaluation and American Heart Association standards; fully online courses are not accepted.
