Commercial Construction Intern - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Support project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, track materials, and maintain project files.
• Prepare document control materials, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist with bid packages and the solicitation and evaluation of subcontractor bids.
• Prepare progress reports and updates for internal teams and client communication.
• Support jobsite activities, including drawing review, site-condition verification, trade coordination, safety, and quality control.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week for the full 10-week program.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn project-specific software, including Microsoft Office 365, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Previous construction industry internship, volunteer work, or related experience.
• Passion for construction and the general contracting industry.
