Field Engineer - Intern (Construction)

What you will do

• Support construction coworkers and prioritize safety across field operations.
• Build relationships and communicate with coworkers, owners, design partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and draft technical submittals, including schedules, shop drawings, and work plans.
• Monitor quality control, safety, and environmental programs while assisting with project layout.
• Identify critical work items, procure long-lead materials, and support material logistics.
• Assist with contract administration, field problem resolution, and maintenance of as-built drawings and manuals.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or possessing equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Interest in career development and mentoring coworkers.
• Valid driver's license required.
