Construction Management Intern (Construction)

Location: Kansas City, Kansas, US; various hirify.global North America sites. Onsite, site-based work with travel required as needed.

What you will do

• Complete HR onboarding and site safety orientation.
• Learn construction project lifecycles, documentation processes, and core management responsibilities.
• Shadow construction managers, project managers, and site leaders during daily operations, planning discussions, and project meetings.
• Support a defined site-based project or process improvement task under mentor guidance.
• Complete online training and develop a capstone project reflecting internship contributions.
• Attend regular supervisor and mentor check-ins for feedback and guidance.

Requirements

• Junior or senior college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be mobile and available to travel for site assignments.
• U.S. visa sponsorship is not available.
