Location: Aurora, Colorado, United States; onsite work involving field and office-based disciplines

Estimated pay: $21.00–$28.00

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is a construction manager and general contractor providing preconstruction, construction, and contracting services across multiple commercial and institutional markets.

What you will do

• Work under the supervision of full-time team members during a paid internship.
• Gain exposure to construction industry careers through field and office-based assignments.
• Support disciplines including safety, preconstruction, project management, field operations, accounting, business development, MEP, virtual construction, marketing, and human resources.
• Build academic and professional knowledge through varied practical experiences, mentorship, and training.
• Work safely within the company’s Incident and Injury Free culture.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree related to the internship focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, push, balance, and kneel; lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.
• Strong analytical, logic, communication, interpersonal, organizational, integrity, and ethical skills.
