Assistant Project Engineer Intern (Construction)

What you will do

• Provide administrative and technical support to project teams.
• Assist with RFIs, document control, submittals, cost tracking, schedule updates, and contract drawing changes.
• Summarize discussions and decisions from project, owner, and subcontractor meetings.
• Support inspection planning, maintain inspection logs, coordinate with inspectors, and prepare projects for inspection.
• Assist superintendents with daily reports and manage progress and quality photographs.
• Support site safety initiatives, follow safety practices, and report concerns to project leadership.

Requirements

• Active full-time sophomore, junior, or senior student pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice to have

• Previous commercial construction work or internship experience.
• Participation in or leadership of student organizations or extracurricular clubs.
