Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (Manufacturing)

Location: Monett, Missouri, United States; primarily site-based. Regular work takes place in office and manufacturing environments, with occasional travel to other Architectural Metals or Apogee locations.

What you will do

• Lead the site EHS strategy, programs, compliance activities, and proactive safety and environmental culture.
• Develop and execute a multi-year EHS roadmap aligned with business, operational, segment, and enterprise priorities.
• Advise plant leadership and integrate EHS considerations into operational and capital planning.
• Manage environmental programs covering waste, air, water, stormwater, hazardous materials, permits, reports, and records.
• Lead incident reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, training, communications, and continuous improvement.
• Track EHS metrics and partner with Operations, HR, Maintenance, Quality, Corporate EHS, and Segment EHS to strengthen accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing, including experience leading site-level EHS programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• CSP, CIH, or another relevant EHS certification.
• Strong communication, influencing, problem-solving, organization, project management, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to use EHS systems and data, develop strategic roadmaps, and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
