Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, USA, with less than 10% travel.

What you will do

• Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety programs for the manufacturing facility.
• Implement and continuously improve site EHS systems aligned with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and corporate standards.
• Serve as the site subject matter expert for OSHA, EPA, Ohio EPA, fire code, hazardous waste, stormwater, and other environmental requirements.
• Lead injury and near-miss investigations, manage CAPA, and reduce recordable incidents using data-driven indicators.
• Supervise and develop EHS professionals and the Site Security Supervisor.
• Partner with plant leadership, maintenance, and engineering on risk mitigation, capital projects, training, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in OSHA General Industry standards, EPA and environmental compliance, and workers’ compensation.
• Experience leading complex injury investigations, CAPA processes, operational risk mitigation, and large-group training.
• Ability to use analytical data tools, Google Workspace, and enterprise EHS systems.
• Ability to walk production floors, climb stairs and ladders, lift up to 25 lbs, and work around noise, chemicals, and temperature shifts.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM certification.
• Experience with Enablon or Smartsheet.
