EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and advance the site environmental, health, and safety strategy in partnership with the Plant Manager and leadership team.
• Maintain a visible shop-floor presence and provide safety, health, and environmental mentorship.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement risk elimination and mitigation measures.
• Monitor OSHA and EPA requirements and translate them into practical plant procedures and solutions.
• Manage waste, water, and energy programs, documentation, permits, vendors, and workers’ compensation cases.
• Lead incident reporting and investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and EHS training.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and their application in a plant setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental studies, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
• Background in engineering, science, safety, or environmental disciplines preferred.
• Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification preferred.
