Supervisor Service Delivery Operations (Insurance)

What you will do

• Supervise staff responsible for policy administration of life insurance and annuity products.
• Hire, coach, train, monitor, and evaluate team members against performance and quality metrics.
• Manage vendor partners, service level agreements, operational metrics, schedules, and daily workflow.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and service standards.
• Prepare root-cause findings, lead issue-resolution discussions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Handle procedural problems, frontline escalations, and communication about policy, product, and process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in an operations environment.
• Problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for coaching and mentoring staff.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure and explain technical or complex concepts.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

• Supervisory or team lead experience.
• Knowledge of insurance practices and principles.
• Project management experience.
• Experience managing both in-office and virtual teams.
