Team Lead - Commercial Lines

Location: Hybrid role in Dallas, Texas, United States; occasional client visits may be required.

What you will do

• Manage operational activities and service standards for a Commercial Lines department.
• Coordinate inside service for new and existing clients, including sales support, account development, problem solving, and insurance inquiries.
• Oversee Commercial Property & Casualty renewals, invoicing, workloads, backlogs, and policy documentation.
• Monitor KPIs, conduct quality audits, and resolve coverage and workload issues.
• Manage two or more employees through hiring, training, performance reviews, work planning, and performance improvement processes.
• Contribute to strategy meetings and apply USI ONE Advantage processes and deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Agency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Property & Casualty coverage, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• State Property & Casualty insurance license, or willingness to obtain one within an agreed timeframe.
• Ability to manage others effectively, prioritize workflows, and perform complex tasks accurately with minimal instruction.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with internet-based programs; Sagitta/ImageRight knowledge is preferred.
• High school diploma required; college degree and prior managerial experience are preferred but not required.

Nice to have

• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU, or willingness to pursue one.
• Experience with Sagitta or ImageRight.
