Advocacy Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bloomington, Minnesota office; job conditions list Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Salary: $24.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide concierge service and customer support to members and clients.
• Assist vendors and members with medical management requests and questions.
• Open authorized case management files and monitor advocacy cases.
• Monitor the intake phone line and support case managers with administrative duties.
• Partner with the Care Coordinator Manager to implement processes and achieve goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of customer service or direct client experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and care management processes, preferably in a health plan.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
• Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.
• Associate degree or Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
