Supervisor, Production 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States; onsite production facility role on the 3rd shift.

Salary: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead one or two production areas or processes and support manufacturing team members in union and non-union environments.
• Plan and facilitate work to achieve production schedules, quality, housekeeping, and safety objectives.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, appraisals, scheduling, and supervision for team members.
• Enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards while responding to product and process nonconformances.
• Conduct root-cause analyses, troubleshoot production issues, and implement improvements to machines, processes, materials, and assembly.
• Support maintenance, continuous-improvement, value-stream, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, and standard-work initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with three or more years of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, prepare routine reports, analyze information, and make decisions within established policies and procedures.
• Availability for routine 3rd-shift hours, with infrequent overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.
