Night Shift Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The role follows a 4-on/4-off schedule, transitioning to night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM after day-shift training.

Annual base salary: $93,600–$105,300, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate production employees and department activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment through safety meetings, inspections, corrective actions, and accident investigations.
• Lead problem-solving sessions addressing production, quality, and safety issues.
• Coordinate on-the-job training and employee skill development.
• Maintain production, spoilage, and downtime records and review schedules for optimization.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders, equipment supplies, SOPs, and job safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
• At least 2 years of job-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with LEAN practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and Standard Work.
• Working knowledge of supervisory practices, production techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to analyze statistical data, perform basic mathematical calculations, use computers, and handle confidential information.
• Ability to work assigned 12-hour shifts, overtime, and on-call assignments as directed.
