What you will do

• Lead manufacturing operations across designated production areas in a complex, high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Set and maintain safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee-engagement objectives.
• Lead operational excellence and Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, constraints, and inefficiencies across the manufacturing process.
• Partner with production, materials, quality, engineering, supply chain, and business leaders to achieve operational goals.
• Develop leadership talent through coaching, mentoring, accountability, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience in plant, manufacturing, operations, or production leadership.
• Experience leading large teams in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success using metrics, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive operational performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Plant Manager, Senior Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Operations, or in an equivalent leadership role.
• Background in high-mix, low-volume, custom-engineered, capital equipment, heavy equipment, specialty vehicle, aerospace, defense, or related industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading transformation, growth, or significant operational change.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Value Stream Management, or Operational Excellence.
• Experience leading large, multi-shift manufacturing operations and developing high-performing leadership teams.
