Sr Software Engineer

Salary: $139,400–$230,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, document, and monitor end-to-end software systems.
• Lead the implementation of solutions for complex and loosely scoped engineering problems.
• Direct investigations and resolutions for critical defects, incidents, and high-impact production problems.
• Consult with users, define functional specifications, and support complex technology initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership while collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to apply technology and improve business outcomes using current industry practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least six additional years of software engineering experience; five years of programming or development experience is also listed.
• Experience leading and managing software engineering teams.
• Cloud computing experience with AWS or Azure, including serverless or EKS environments.
• Proficiency in REST or GraphQL API development, infrastructure as code with Terraform or AWS CDK, and scripting with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with eventing systems, relational and document databases, automated and unit testing, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, observability platforms, and Agile/Scrum.
