What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to encourage the growth of other engineers.
• Own the health and quality of systems, including participating in on-call rotations and live incident response.
• Write architecture briefs and proposals and carry out code experiments to validate technical directions.
• Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration between software components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive the technical roadmap aligned with product goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 9+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software using languages such as Go, Ruby, Rust, Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, or C#.
• Ability to design, prototype, and support highly performant and scalable solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale system architecture, cloud-based environments, and microservices.
• Knowledge of React, MySQL, CosmosDB, Elasticsearch, or telemetry tools like Datadog and Sentry.
• Familiarity with CNCF concepts, GraphQL at scale (Apollo Federation, etc.), or streaming systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
