What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain MongoDB databases supporting enterprise security automation initiatives.
• Design database structures aligned with system architecture and implement complex cloud-based storage and retrieval solutions.
• Optimize database performance through indexing strategies, query optimization, and resource utilization improvements.
• Configure replication, sharding, high-availability solutions, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Build workflows that automate existing processes and develop database parsers and loading software.
• Monitor database health, performance metrics, and security compliance while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• 10 years of database engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; 5 years of database engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Experience with MongoDB, cloud methodologies, database architecture, performance optimization, and data storage and retrieval.
