Senior Project Manager - Data Center Power Generation

Location: Primarily remote within the United States; candidates living within 50 miles of a hirify.global site may be required to work onsite 2–3 business days per week. Hiring is limited to states where hirify.global has an established business presence. Candidates residing in Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, North Dakota, Nebraska, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wyoming are not eligible.

Salary: $113,000–$143,950 per year

hirify.global develops energy-resilience solutions including engines, generators, power conversion, UPS systems, EV components, microgrid controls, and clean energy systems.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams delivering data center power generation projects, including Jenbacher engine installations and balance of plant infrastructure.
• Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, vendors, subcontractors, and contractual deliverables.
• Develop construction and commissioning schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Coordinate construction, mechanical and electrical installation, commissioning, corrective actions, and client handover.
• Maintain client communication, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and report progress to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance to forecast project costs, track payment milestones, and manage revenue recognition.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or at least 8 years of power generation or data center construction experience.
• Experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar engineering or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of HSE, quality, and commissioning protocols.
• Strong understanding of power generation and reciprocating engine systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling or project controls software.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future; national travel to project sites is required as needed.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification.
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar project tracking software.
• Experience with multi-engine containerized solutions and utility interconnect processes.
