Senior Data Center Project Manager

Location: Hybrid and regionally based, with remote project management and approximately 50% travel to active construction sites, data centers, and customer locations across U.S. markets.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead Inside Plant and data center connectivity projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, budgets, forecasts, and profitability controls.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, vendors, manpower, materials, equipment, procurement, and field leadership.
• Support bidding, take-offs, scope reviews, pricing, change orders, and project cost and schedule adjustments.
• Manage customer communication, project expectations, quality, safety, specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Help build the Connectivity program through standardized processes, training, bidding practices, scheduling standards, and project tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent project management experience in telecommunications, connectivity, low-voltage, structured cabling, data center construction, or a related construction environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing Inside Plant projects; primarily Outside Plant experience is not the target profile.
• Experience with data center connectivity, structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, or related low-voltage systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, change orders, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and multiple priorities.
• Strong construction project management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to regional and potentially nationwide job sites and data centers.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, or Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of Division 27, TIA/EIA, BICSI, NFPA, or OSHA requirements.
• Experience developing project processes, training programs, or operational standards.
