Senior Project Manager (Energy)

Location: Remote in Oregon, Washington, or Texas, United States; field work with 20% travel

Salary: $128,320–$160,400 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Manage engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations activities for new and modified energy facilities.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage design, procurement, construction, and EPC contracts.
• Direct project engineers and construction site managers to deliver milestones safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Lead professionals providing technical expertise and project support across multiple wind and thermal energy projects.
• Forecast capital spending, provide project updates to senior management, and support technical due diligence.
• Support plant operations, equipment acquisition, breakdown analysis, process improvements, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in project engineering and construction of electric generation projects.
• 5 years of experience in project development or management.
• Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Primavera P3, and Thermo-flow GT Pro/GT Master.
• Ability to work remotely from Oregon, Washington, or Texas and travel 20%.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of construction law, contracts, claims avoidance, insurance, and contract administration.
