DevOps Engineer (Terraform)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The role is associated with Jersey City, NJ.

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure components.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, release, and deployment workflows.
• Implement governance, security, code quality, compliance, monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
• Manage infrastructure deployments, updates, rollbacks, and drift remediation.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams during releases and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• 10–15 years of DevOps or cloud engineering experience.
• Expert-level Terraform and strong hands-on Jenkins experience.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD architectures and Infrastructure as Code automation.
• Experience with AWS DevOps Services and at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Linux administration, Shell/Bash scripting, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift experience.
• Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus, or Artifactory experience.
• Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack experience.
• Python scripting and cloud-native containerized deployment experience.
• Experience with Blue-Green, Rolling, and Canary deployment strategies.
