DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Remote in the USA

Annual compensation: $90,000–$120,000 USD for US-based candidates; packages above this range may be considered.

What you will do

• Architect and improve AWS infrastructure and help build the Kubernetes platform.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration management using IaC.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and drive projects through production.
• Improve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
• Advise development teams on DevOps practices and infrastructure-side environment and application configuration.
• Participate in the production on-call rotation and respond to outages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, as well as Helm and Docker.
• Experience with application containerization, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD/GitOps.
• Experience with web application servers, ingress and load balancing, databases, caching, and queue technologies.
• Ability to write Bash and Python scripts, strong networking skills, and good written and verbal English communication.

Nice to have

• Linux system administration experience.
• Experience in a PCI-compliant environment.
• Experience automating service onboarding and resource provisioning.
• Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, DataDog, or OpenTelemetry.
