Software Developer (Simulation)

Location: Daleville, Alabama, United States. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for simulation-based training systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, hardware, instructional design, programming, and systems integration teams.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, and support hardware and simulation-platform integration.
• Write technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java, with experience in object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, version control, and development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation, modeling, or training systems.
• Knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, or other simulation and game-development frameworks.
• Familiarity with real-time systems, hardware/software integration, Agile, or Scrum.
