Software Engineer (UAS)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (UAS/Defense): Developing and enhancing complex software systems for Federal Intelligence Programs with an accent on processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems. Salary: $126,000 – $270,000

What you will do

• Develop and enhance software for processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems based on documented requirements.
• Design and implement complex algorithms and database interfaces to meet strict performance and timing constraints.
• Lead software development teams, overseeing the work process and ensuring quality control of team products.
• Perform requirements analysis to derive software design and performance specifications from system-level needs.
• Conduct software testing, debugging, and corrective maintenance to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with system and hardware engineers to optimize software/hardware tradeoffs and integrate COTS/GOTS solutions.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) to comply with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Minimum 14 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in development for Windows or UNIX applications using C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and build/deploy technologies (Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Artifactory).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
