Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; onsite

Salary: $126,000–$270,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, enhance, integrate, and debug complex software systems for a high-priority Federal Intelligence Program.
• Build processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, business management information systems, and solutions for extremely large data sets.
• Design and implement complex algorithms, database interfaces, data queries, and software components subject to strict timing, resource, and interface constraints.
• Analyze user and system requirements, derive software design and performance requirements, and collaborate with software, systems, and hardware engineers.
• Review and test software, resolve problem reports, document results, and maintain system and software documentation.
• Build applications, coordinate software installation, monitor equipment operation, and contribute to development standards and team delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least 14 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience developing Windows or UNIX applications using C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with build and deployment technologies such as Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
• Experience with Jenkins or Bamboo and building automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. person status documentation are required; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
