Senior Software Engineer (C++)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; office environment required

Salary: $100,500–$153,250 per year

What you will do

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications for complex CUAS systems.
• Maintain existing applications and support debugging and diagnostics of deployed software systems.
• Participate in software testing through test review, analysis, witnessing, certification, and debugging.
• Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional business development and customer success teams.
• Support the development of new system capabilities and contribute to the capability roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in C++ application development.
• Expert programming ability with C/C++ or Python.
• Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Proficiency with Linux.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected individual with asylee/refugee status, or qualify for the required export license.

Nice to have

• Experience with data acquisition or embedded sensor systems.
• Experience with digital RF systems, including Software Defined Radio.
• Experience working with highly threaded codebases.
• Experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating technical risks.
