Director, Facilities Management

Location: Goleta, California — in-office at the headquarters; travel to offices across the USA is required as needed.

Salary: $154,700–$208,800 annually for the Goleta, California location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute facilities management strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
• Lead policies and procedures covering facilities, maintenance, safety, environmental health, and regulatory compliance across locations.
• Plan and manage capital, equipment, operating budgets, space planning, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, repairs, inspections, documentation, and vendor contracts.
• Drive sustainability initiatives involving energy efficiency, water management, and waste reduction.
• Lead engineering project activities from feasibility and assessment through testing, implementation, and ramp-up; present facilities and real estate reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in facilities or property management.
• Proven experience as a Director of Facilities or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong project management, fiscal management, and fiscal reporting skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management practices, regulations, and industry trends, including OSHA and ADA compliance.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills; ability to travel to USA offices as needed.
