Senior Manager Facilities

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite. Occasional domestic travel and extended hours may be required.

Annual base pay: $130,000–$145,000, plus potential benefits and performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Facilities and General Services team through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Manage construction, space planning, employee moves, and infrastructure projects from bidding through completion, including budgets, timelines, and subcontractor performance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, mechanical and HVAC systems, energy conservation, and facility drawings across North America sites.
• Manage café, pantry, and mailroom operations at the Carlsbad headquarters.
• Partner with Legal, Security, Safety, and business leaders to maintain reliable projects and daily operations.
• Lead environmental compliance activities, hazardous materials policies, audits, permits, emergency preparedness training, and safety drills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of corporate facilities management experience, including 3+ years leading and developing a team.
• Strong planning, organization, contract negotiation, vendor management, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of facility engineering disciplines, building trades, and specialties.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification.
• Ability to work in office, warehouse, and administrative environments, including frequently lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• CSP or equivalent safety certification.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor certification.
• Corporate Security experience.
