What you will do

• Provide in-person, telephone, and telehealth patient care under provider supervision.
• Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and point-of-care tests.
• Collect patient histories, screen findings, communicate with providers, and document care in the medical record.
• Support pre-visit preparation, patient outreach, preventive care coordination, medical records, and patient service activities.
• Mentor clinical support staff and adapt to workflows across multiple practices and specialties.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a medical assisting program, and a clinical externship.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and certification or registration through AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT.
• At least two years of clinical medical assistant experience; three years preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and office workflows, with proficiency in specimen collection, medication administration, vital signs, and history taking.
• Strong communication, time management, customer service, teamwork, adaptability, and basic computer skills.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Experience in expanded clinical support roles, such as vaccine coordination or mentoring.
• Epic EMR experience.
