Senior Workday Projects & Financials Analyst

Location: Remote; candidates must be based in the United States or Canada. Preference for candidates near Irvine, CA; Denver, CO; Little Rock, AR; or Calgary, AB.

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 USD annually, plus a 5% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Act as a functional and technical subject matter expert for Workday Financials, Projects, Project Billing, and Customer Accounts.
• Design and improve end-to-end business processes across Workday, Coupa, HighRadius, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
• Configure Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, security assignments, and Projects modules.
• Administer the Workday security model, including security groups, domain policies, business process security, audits, and compliance monitoring.
• Lead small to mid-sized projects from scoping through delivery and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support end users by resolving issues, improving processes, preparing training materials, and measuring product adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Workday functional experience with deep expertise in Financials and Projects.
• Hands-on experience with Workday tenant administration, business process configuration, and security administration.
• Ability to design processes across enterprise applications and analyze backend information, data mappings, and integration or microservice components.
• Experience leading projects, coordinating stakeholders, managing vendors, and improving operational business processes.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and end-user engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in Financials, Projects, Project Billing, or Contracts to Cash.
• Workday Security certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in professional services, project-based businesses, ERP implementations, or large-scale upgrades.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, Coupa, HighRadius, or Salesforce.
