Strategic Business Planning Analyst - Life & Employee Benefit Claims Production Support (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa or Denver, Colorado; occasional travel for strategic planning sessions, less than 10%.

Salary: $83,000–$94,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and update strategic planning templates, communications, roadmaps, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms.
• Define strategic planning processes, priorities, capabilities, success measures, and operating cadence.
• Coordinate planning and execution with the PMO, functional leads, and peers across the organization.
• Identify integrations and establish cross-organizational contacts to align initiatives and plan implementation.
• Assist with escalated issues involving priorities, goals, strategies, resources, and key initiatives.
• Prepare presentations for specific audiences and support measurement of strategic results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of strategic planning experience in a similar environment, planning role, or consulting role.
• Ability to communicate with all organizational levels and influence stakeholders toward strategic goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including strategy planning and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with project management tools and project lifecycles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• Insurance or financial services experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Knowledge of claims applications.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
