Workday Financials Functional Analyst (Financial & Procurement) - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid within commuting distance of one of the U.S. hub locations: Frisco, Texas; San Jose, California; New York, Minnesota, Georgia, Florida, or Texas. Office attendance is based on team needs. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: USD $93,370–$153,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide end-user support and respond to inquiries across Workday Financials and Procurement.
• Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize FIN, PLNF, PRJT, EXP, PRO, ACC, and SRCEXP modules.
• Research reported issues and new functionality, coordinate testing, and assess the impact of biannual Workday releases.
• Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and stakeholders.
• Improve financial workflows, data quality, and integrity across chart of accounts, vendors, customers, and fixed assets.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, IT, and external auditors on requirements, compliance, and audit findings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, including at least one year supporting Workday in a financial functional area such as Core Financials, Financial Accounting, Expenses, or Procurement.
• Working knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial management practices.
• Knowledge of Workday Security and completion of at least one approved Workday advanced skills course.
• Ability to perform advanced research, analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of issues and new functionality.
• Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• A BA, BS, or BBA in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Financials certification or another relevant financial analysis certification.
• Familiarity with Workday touchpoints and system integrations.
• Experience providing user training and creating documentation.
