DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity.

Early-stage healthcare startup building an AI-powered care navigation platform for health systems in the U.S. and MENA region.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Architect and operate GKE clusters across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Bazel configuration, caching, and reproducible monorepo builds.
• Implement safe deployment strategies including canary releases, blue/green deployments, and rollbacks.
• Improve logging, monitoring, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, incident response, and production readiness.
• Strengthen cloud and Kubernetes security, IAM, secrets management, auditability, and compliance support.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with GCP and Kubernetes, preferably GKE.
• Deep experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and production build systems such as Bazel.
• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, cloud security, and systems with uptime requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting HIPAA or SOC2 environments.
• Experience in early-stage or high-growth startups.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, real-time systems, and monorepo release engineering.
