Sr DevSecOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of two days onsite each week at the downtown San Francisco office and remote work from home the rest of the week.

Base pay: $185,000–$243,000 per year, with additional bonuses and profit sharing.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Implement network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
• Manage Kubernetes and Docker environments and automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.
• Monitor systems, implement observability with logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting, and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct security audits, remediate vulnerabilities, optimize cloud costs, and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and CDNs.
• Experience with WAFs, CNAPP, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, threat hunting, and offensive security.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, infrastructure as code, secure cloud infrastructure, and scalable automation.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS, plus secrets management and identity/access management.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, modern application stacks, and secure architecture collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and SQL.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with zero-trust architecture, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessment.
