Technical Sourcing Recruiter (AI)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Build and own proactive talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and evergreen technical roles across software engineering, AI/ML, forward deployed engineering, product management, design, and DevOps.
• Run intake calls with hiring managers and translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies and candidate profiles.
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates through external channels and the internal ATS/database.
• Partner with TA Partners and Hiring Managers throughout the hiring lifecycle and contribute process improvements to the talent function.
• Provide compensation benchmarks, talent availability data, competitor intelligence, and passive-candidate insights.
• Use AI tools in daily sourcing and outreach workflows while tracking pipeline health, conversion, time-to-submit, and source effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven technical sourcing experience recruiting software engineers, AI/ML engineers, forward deployed engineers, product managers, designers, or DevOps/infrastructure engineers.
• Ability to understand technical job descriptions and communicate credibly with hiring managers and candidates about relevant skills.
• Experience with advanced Boolean and X-ray search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn Recruiter, and creative sourcing channels.
• Experience conducting intake calls and creating actionable sourcing plans.
• Strong data analysis, candidate screening, technical assessment, and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Government contracting recruiting experience, including cleared talent and GovCon sourcing channels.
• Experience sourcing for early-stage or fast-scaling technical teams.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS.
