Technical Recruiter (Defense)

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of concurrent technical and specialized positions from intake through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to define candidate profiles, hiring strategies, priorities, and timelines.
• Source active and passive candidates for difficult-to-fill roles and build both immediate and long-term talent pipelines.
• Conduct recruiter screens, assess technical qualifications and motivation, and provide objective candidate recommendations.
• Track pipeline health, recruiting metrics, candidate records, and search progress in the ATS while addressing obstacles and delays.
• Advise stakeholders on talent availability, market conditions, compensation expectations, and sourcing challenges, and support offer negotiations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant technical recruiting experience.
• Experience managing high volumes of concurrent requisitions, including complex or difficult-to-fill positions.
• Strong passive sourcing, talent pipeline development, advanced Boolean search, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Ability to understand technical requirements, prioritize competing demands, work independently, and adjust recruiting strategies.
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, or Dice.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold, or be able to obtain and maintain, a U.S. government personnel security clearance.

• Recruiting experience in defense, aerospace, government contracting, advanced technology, or manufacturing.
• Experience recruiting for roles requiring U.S. security clearances or other defense-industry eligibility.
• Experience recruiting across software, hardware, engineering, or highly specialized technical environments.
• Familiarity with Department of Defense or national security programs and technical talent markets.
• Active-duty military experience.
