Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid, with in-person collaboration 3 to 4 days a week

Salary: $155,000–$170,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for R&D roles across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data.
• Source passive candidates through Boolean searches, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and unconventional channels.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership on role definition, workforce planning, pipeline development, and headcount planning.
• Manage candidate experience, interview coordination, offer strategy, and compensation discussions using hirify.global market data.
• Track pipeline metrics and reporting in Greenhouse and Gem while improving recruiting process quality.
• Design interviewer calibration and training programs and use AI-powered recruiting tools for research, outreach, and pipeline analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience sourcing and closing engineering talent across multiple levels and disciplines; typically 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting at a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology company.
• Strong Boolean search skills and effective sourcing instincts for passive candidates.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, offer negotiation, and candidate experience skills.
• Data-driven approach to pipeline metrics and recruiting decisions.
• Fluency with AI-powered recruiting tools and interest in AI-native workflows.
