Salary: $33,280–$37,440 per year

What you will do

• Produce daily newscasts for broadcast across all platforms.
• Write, organize, and approve news stories and scripts.
• Balance news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts.
• Time news programs and edit video for broadcast and digital publication.
• Write and publish stories for websites and other eMedia platforms.
• Interact with viewers and users through social media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Fluent English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience in news operations, depending on market size.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
